Change

June 5, 2020

We need change.

It is long overdue, and we see the suffering. We are angry about the injustices, saddened by the loss of life, and moved by the support of the people standing up for change. Change can be uncomfortable and confusing, but it is necessary. We stand firm in our decision to lean into the discomfort that comes with change in order to grow towards equity and justice.

We don’t just serve tacos; we work to create a space that is built on and spreads compassion, inclusion, equity and love. We will keep working on the ways we’re showing up, and we will stay committed to learning how to show up more.

We are donating 10% of all our sales this week from Hawthorne, Mississippi, and online ordering to DontShootPDX, SEI, and Campaign Zero to support the continued work of these organizations whose missions reflect our values.
