Portland’s Biggest Festival for Cheese and All Things That Go with It Moves to the Portland Night Market Space
Portland, Ore. (July 13, 2017) – Join more than 20 cheesemakers and 40 specialty food and beverage producers from Oregon and beyond at The Wedge, a farmers market-style event featuring the largest selection of Oregon cheese you can find anywhere, served alongside foods and drinks that taste great with it. Sample and purchase local artisan cheese, charcuterie, jams and sauces, chocolate, wine, cider, beer, and much more – direct from the person who made it.
Where: We’re thrilled to announce The Wedge has moved! This year The Wedge will take place at Alder Block, site of the Portland Night Market, 100 SE Alder St.
When: 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, October 7, 2017
Cost: Cheese and food sampling tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door, and come with a $5 token good toward purchase from any cheesemaker. Wine/cider tasting is an additional $10 and includes a commemorative glass. Tickets go on sale in August.
Who: This is a family friendly event. Children under 12 may taste for free.
Founded in 2006, the Oregon Cheese Guild is dedicated to the art and craft of making cheese. The Guild is a collaborative effort to increase awareness of Oregon’s artisanal cheeses, create educational opportunities, and provide a platform for cooperation and shared resources among Oregon cheesemakers.
