Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau the Oregon Way

October 16, 2020

Oregon-based Union Wine Company has created a new tradition: Underwood Nouveau Pinot Noir as a fun riff on the French Beaujolais Nouveau holiday to celebrate the first grape harvest of the year. After receiving positive response on their Nouveau cans last year, Union is following up with a limited 2020 vintage in both cans and bottles this November.

Union Wine Co. Winemaker, JP Caldcleugh says you can expect:

  • “A berry medley that jumps out of the glass. It’s full of life. It’s big. It’s in your face. It’s as raw as it gets.”
  • “It’s the freshest expression of Union’s Pinot, giving you a peek into what the year’s harvest flavor profiles will bring.”
