Trend alert! This winter, our Instagram mentions have blown up with pink chicories – and no wonder! From castelfranco and rosalba to classic tardivo and speckled radicchio, these beauties are delicious, tender and great with a classic garlic/Parmesan dressing.
Raab season is already here! In addition to beautiful, early-season purple sprouting broccoli, we are already seeing turnip, arugula and kale raabs (inflorescence, technically) from local farms. These flower stems are more tender – and sweet! – than their leaves, perfect for a quick sautè with some noodles.
