Wednesday (Sept 2) is the next Carman Ranch pick up at Cheese Bar. Thoughtfully designed boxes contain different combinations of sustainable beef, chicken, and fish. In addition to preordered boxes, they’ll be bringing other items that can be purchased on Wednesday:
dry aged ribeyes
culottes (similar to top sirloin)
ground beef (80/20)

Portland Chèvre paired with heirloom tomatoes – top a burger or enjoy on the side with roasted chicken
Tinto Negro Argentinian Cabernet Franc is the perfect wine with grilled steaks
Crowley Willamette Valley Pinot Noir pairs nicely with almost anything on the grill.
Helioterra Willamette Valley Melon De Bourgogne is a beautiful wine with grilled chicken or fish.

And speaking of tomatoes… fresh mozzarella with vine-ripened tomatoes are the perfect summer indulgence. We have three excellent fresh mozzarellas in stock now. These are all American cheeses made in the Italian style, and all are American Cheese Society award winners!
Buf Creamy’s organic ovaline (“egg sized”) are perfect for slicing. Buf Creamery is South American with fresh mozzarella made from their Columbian free-range herd of water buffalo.
We are currently carrying TWO burratas made in New England. These pillows of hand-pulled fresh mozzarella are filled with stracciatella, a blend of hand pulled fresh mozzarella strands and fresh cultured cream. Calabro’s burrata is made in Connecticut, and Narragansett comes from Rhode Island.
