FRUIT FORWARD Portland Community Apple & Fruit Drive starts July 13 thru September 30!
Portland Cider Company is coordinating our 5th annual Community Cider, made with donated backyard apple & other fruits from people in the Portland Metro area. ALL backyard fruits and berries are encouraged!
Here are the quick details to help you turn your unwanted backyard apples and fruits into a community cider.
Accepting a minimum donation of 1 bushel of apples or pears* (40 lbs) OR 10 lbs of berries or other fruit.
*40lbs or more of non-rotting apples and pears. Ugly apples are fine (bruised, holes, etc.).
WHERE: Portland Cider Co. Pub & Cidery 8925 SE Jannsen Rd., Bldg. F Clackamas, OR 97015
WHEN: DROP-OFF DATES: Monday, July 13 – Wednesday, September 30
DROP-OFF TIMES: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm
Weekend drop-offs available by appointment only. Please fill out an appointment form HERE.
WHY: The more apples and fruits we get – the more cider we can make & sell! 10% of the sales from the resulting community cider will be donated to Hunger-Free Oregon and their Hunger-Free Kids school programs!
BIG NEWS!! CANNING CIDER FOR THE 1ST TIME IN 2020!
We will have the PDX Community Cider available in 19.2 oz ‘Proper Pint’ cans and 12 oz – 6 packs for the 1st time once the cider is ready!!
