Buffalo Cauliflower Returns and Much More to the Portland Bottle Shop!
The Weekly What’s Up 10/22/21!
Hi all, hope this finds you well. We are cruising towards the holiday season and I think it’s going to be a good one. I’m at least going to put that out to the universe. We have our traditional fall weather with us, which means bring a raincoat everywhere you go because you never know when it will start. We will be buckling down our outdoor seating soon with some “walls” to keep the sideways rain from reaching you. Now is a good time to throw a blanket in the car so you can enjoy the outdoor seating all year long. Hope to see you all soon.
The Return of the Buffalo Cauliflower!
You read it right, for a limited time we are running our tasty Buffalo Cauliflower. This may be the most requested item since we changed our menu. Well, this weekend is your opportunity to grab some delicious spicy cauliflower with your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. Grab yourself some before it’s gone!
This young winemaker blazes his own trail and this delicious, 100% Pinot Noir is a great representation of his talent. Organically grown in the commune of Cheverny. However, you can’t bottle a 100% Pinot Noir in Cheverny, so he changed the name to Vercheny. Bright red fruit throughout with amazing acidity and length. Tons of raspberry and strawberry up front with a tart cherry finish. If you are going to try a Pinot Noir from outside Oregon, grab yourself this bottle and compare.
With Halloween right around the corner, I thought I would highlight two of my favorite scary brews. First is the delicious Italian Pils from a collaboration between Wayfinder, Modern Times and Heater Allen. Dry, very aromatic with a punch of hops. This Grains of Wrath “Built for Speed” is a gold metal winning strong pale ale and it rocks! Tropical, pine and deliciously dank. These are great brews to up your Halloween game this year. Enjoy!
