Blue Star Donuts Grand Opening at the Portland International Airport
Blue Star opens location at PDX December 12, 2016
Portland, Ore. – Portland’s beloved artisan donut shop is now officially open at Portland International Airport and ready with sweet treats for holiday travelers!
The new shop is located pre-security in the Oregon Market. This location will be open from 4am-9pm daily. The PDX shop carries all the regular and city-exclusive donut flavors, and serves local roasting darling Coava Coffee’s specialty “Blue Star Blend” drip coffee.
“We are excited to welcome Blue Star Donuts to the PDX food family,” said Shane Andreasen, Sr. Manager of Concession Development at PDX. “This will be the first time that we will have had a stand-alone donut store at PDX; come this fall, our travelers will have the opportunity to grab Blue Star’s signature donuts prior to their flight to take a taste of Portland to friends and family.”

For the fourth consecutive year, PDX has been voted America’s Best Airport by Travel + Leisure magazine. Blue Star will be joining the ranks of favorite Portland locals like Elephants Delicatessen and Kenny and Zuke’s, further increasing the local flavor in Portland’s award-winning airport.

Blue Star Donuts, founded and owned by Katie Poppe and Micah Camden, is an artisan donut shop with four locations in Portland, Oregon.
