Introducing Craig Day & Sunday Supper
We want to share some big news with you!
As we approached our 10th-year milestone, we started to reflect on ways we could keep looking forward, keep innovating and keep evolving. As part of this reflection and process, we decided to bring some new talent into the kitchen.
We searched far and wide to find someone who would be as passionate as we are about all the things Lapellah is founded on – creating rustic and simple foods made from locally sourced ingredients and building relationships within our community and our network of farmers. We definitely found all of this with Craig Day, our new executive chef.
Craig comes to us from the Three Forks Bakery and Brewery, a farm-to-table restaurant in Nevada City, California, where he was executive chef. He has worked in kitchens and around food since his teen years and his experience spans everything from dishwasher to farmer to executive chef. His deep knowledge of the entire food and restaurant ecosystem, coupled with his impeccable skills and creativity makes him a natural fit for Lapellah.
Craig is looking forward to building on the relationships we have with local farmers and ranchers to bring more beautiful, rustic and simple food onto the menu at Lapellah. He has been getting up to speed over the past couple of weeks so you may have already noticed some of his new creations on the menu. We can’t tell you how happy we are to have him on board!
