Neighborhood Staycation
The East Burnside neighborhood is bustling and we’re excited about all our new neighbors. It’s a great place for a Portland staycation! Here are some of our picks for how to best experience the neighborhood.
Our longtime friends at The Jupiter Hotel recently opened NEXTnext door, a central spot for all your Portland exploring. We’ve personally tested out these rooms, and they’re comfortable with amazing city views. Plus, you can grab a cocktail downstairs at Hey Love without ever leaving the building.
Chef Gabriel Rucker recently took in a post-run soak at Knot Springs. A great place to recover and relax with a soak, full on treatments, and loads more.
Don’t miss happy hour at our newest, Canard. Next door, the Le Pigeon chef’s counter is always open for walk ins, a great way to experience the complex and ever-changing menu from chef Gabriel Rucker. Still hungry? Bar Casa Vale, Erizo or Normandie are great additions to the hood.
New cocktail cave Scotch Lodge, makes for a great nightcap. Beer more your thing? Danish brewery Mikkeller is currently popping up just down the road (701 E Burnside St).
Holiday Closure
Canard will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope you have a relaxing holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8am and look forward to seeing you then!
