At Lauretta Jeans, Easter Treats + Spring Sweets!

April 8, 2022

Pie, Coffee, & News 4.8.22

Happy Spring and Happy Easter! We’ve been baking up a storm, and have all sorts of delicious spring treats for your festivities.

Easter Egg Sugar Cookies: Need we say more, if ya don’t know about our sugar cookies – it’s probably for the best. That way you won’t miss them when they’re gone. (And if you do know, hurry! This is the last call for sugar cookies for many months!!)

Carrot Cakes: We’ll have carrot cakes in the case or available for pre-order for the next two weeks! Available whole (9″ only) or by the slice, our carrot cakes are made with shredded carrots, toasted pecans, and coconut, which make for a super moist and delicious cake. Topped with a healthy dollop of classic cream cheese icing, of course. And just in case you were worried, there are NO RAISINS in our carrot cake. (Rejoice!) We don’t make this bad girl very often, so get it while you can!

EASTER PIES + QUICHE

Easter brunch? We’ve got a quiche for that. Festive family dinner? We’ve got a pie for that. Whatever your Easter plans, we’ve got you covered with delicious pies and quiche!

QUICHE: Our quiche are always baked in a savory butter and thyme crust. And this year, we’ve got the first of the season’s asparagus coming in from McMinnville area farm country.

PIES FOR EASTER:

Raspberry Chiffon – Light and airy raspberry mousse filling bursting with juicy raspberries.

Blackberry Raspberry Streusel – Always a crowd pleaser! Double berries, dressed up with lemon zest and a cinnamon oat crumble top.

Tart Cherry – Grandma Jean’s favorite pie to make, always with a lattice top to show off those beautiful cherries

Coconut Cream – Shredded coconut cream filling topped with fresh whipped cream and toasted coconut.

Why does coconut equal easter? We don’t know, maybe it’s those easter bunny cakes with dyed coconut “fur” frosting? Either way, Coconut Cream Pie is our FAV!

Annnd, if those don’t strike your fancy, CLICK HERE to view the full list.

Pies and Quiche are $39 each, which includes a $5 refundable deposit for the glass pie dish. To ensure you get the quiche or pie that you want, be sure to pre-order via our website or by calling 503-235-3119. We will have extra pie and quiche in the case on Easter Weekend, if you want to stop in and try your luck!
