Hello again, everyone! We hope you’ve been enjoying these inimitable Portland summer days. Although our bartenders may not be able to make you that perfect Piña Colada to quaff in the late afternoon this time around, we are excited to announce the next best thing! The Commissary, which Daniel started with Sean Hoard (veteran Teardrop manager) in 2014 to provide Portland’s best bars and restaurants with a dizzying array of fresh mixes and citrus, has begun selling direct-to-consumer for the first time. Our opening lineup includes a Margarita, Smash, Mule, and – you guessed it – a Piña Colada. All made fresh to order, with the same care and passion you’ve come to love. Everything is designed to pour quickly over ice for maximum ease and enjoyment – you bring the booze, we’ve done the rest. We’re going live this week with a soft launch, and you can find us HERE. We’re still figuring out systems, so please provide any feedback as you can or want. Oh, and spread the word, we’d be ever so grateful.
Speaking of grateful. thanks for the messages of support and well wishes from so many of you after our update last month. All of the proverbial fingers remain crossed that the numbers in Multnomah County are approaching an inflection point, allowing us to reopen our doors with confidence sometime in September. Please stay tuned for a firm date and a whole list of the measures we’ve taken these last few months to ensure your safety at every step during the experience at Teardrop.
Take care, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
