An easy spring chicken recipe and holiday ordering from Elephants Deli

March 19, 2021

An easy springtime chicken recipe

Apricot chicken is a classic Passover dish. (You’ll find a traditional version on our Passover menu.)

Try this spice-laden twist on the classic recipe!

Make chicken with apricot, chipotle, and tamarind
Our favorite Easter dishesA perfect Easter morning begins with a creamy frittata or quiche Lorraine. Dinner always includes our Applewood-smoked ham. And we always enjoy a basket of fresh-baked hot cross buns.

Take a look at our Easter menu.

Applewood-smoked ham with pineapple-bourbon sauce.
Hot cross buns from our bakery.
What is haroset?Haroset (or charoset) is a traditional Passover seder plate item meant to symbolize the mortar used by the slaves in Egypt. Ours is a classic fruit-and-nut combination of apples, walnuts, dates, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, and wine.

It makes an excellent accompaniment to brisket after it has served its role on the seder plate.

Plan your Passover feast.

Flourless chocolate mini cake.
Beef brisket with tsimmes.
Elephants joins the Crowd Cow familyCrowd Cow connects customers to small farms, co-ops, and independent producers of beef, pork, chicken and sustainable seafood. So you can know your farmer and eat better meat.

Now you can add your favorite Elephants side dishes (or strawberry-rhubarb pie) to your order! We’re thrilled by this new partnership and proud to be part of Crowd Cow’s mission to support farms and family-owned food producers.

Check out what Crowd Cow has to offer!
