Alter Ego Cider Celebrates Taphouse Grand Opening & 5th Anniversary on June 23

June 18, 2019

Alter Ego Cider will celebrate the grand opening of their new SE Portland taphouse (located at 2025 SE 7th Ave.) and five years of making cider on Sunday, June 23rd from 2 pm to 6 pm with cider specials, raffles, and fresh seafood from Flying Fish Co.

Coinciding with Oregon Cider Week (June 20-30), the Grand Opening & 5th Anniversary Party will feature the release of Sunstone, a brand new strawberry rhubarb cider, as well as oysters, ceviche, and more from Flying Fish Co., discounts on cider six-packs, music by DJ Pablo Ricardo, and raffle drawings every half-hour for merchandise, tasting flights, and cellar tours.

All of Alter Ego’s flagship and seasonal ciders will be available for $5 per glass during the event.

Alter Ego is a cidery owned and operated by winemakers, producing food-friendly ciders with distinctly wine-like techniques. The just-opened taphouse serves cider, beer, and wine. Gemma Schmit, an alum of Reverend Nat’s and Culmination Brewing, is at the helm Wednesday through Sunday.
