As we start to wrap up what’s proven to be an…interesting 2021, we’ve set sights on our favorite time of year: party season. And we’ve got plenty to celebrate, like Ava Gene’s returning after an 18+ month hiatus and opening our new Cicoria pizzeria where we can cheer on the Blazers.

AVA GENE’S FALL DINNER SERIES
Time to pop open more bottles of wine Tickets are now available for the remaining dates of our fall dinner events at Ava Gene’s! Take your pick (or join us for multiple evenings): Trattoria Nights feature a three-course menu of Roman-inspired dishes highlighting the best of the PNW, and our Wine Dinner Series celebrates fall’s bounty with six-course menus paired with Oregon wines + a rotating guest list of talented regional winemakers. If the Blazers are playing, it’s happy hour at Cicoria. Join us every game day* for an extended happy hour featuring $5 spritzes, $8 cheese and pepperoni pizzas, plus other menu specials from 4-9pm. We’ll have the game on at the bar and back room, starting with tonight’s season opener against the Sacramento Kings.
*Unless it’s a Monday, cause we’re closed on Mondays. FYI: Happy hour is always offered at Cicoria from 4-6pm, Tuesday-Sunday.
Tusk has basically risen from the ashes of its grill this year. From being closed to offering takeout only and then counter service, we are proud to say that Tusk now provides full dine-in service PLUS online ordering for takeaway and delivery. Enjoy a cocktail on our patio! Tuck into a family meal at home! Do what you want! We got you.
It’s always shandy season as far as we’re concerned, especially when it comes to the Yuzu Shandy from Takibi. Made with Takibi’s own pilsner in collaboration with Ferment Brewing Company of Hood River and sparkling Kimino yuzu juice, this simple and sessionable drink highlights what the restaurant’s bar program is all about: singular Japanese ingredients met with local purveyors to create wholly unique offerings.
