Adarré Reserve

We are in love with a new cheese from French affineur, Rodolphe Le Meunier. Adarré Reserve is a tomme-style cheese made from a blend of pasteurized goat and sheep’s milk. It is made in the French Pyrenees and named for a neighboring mountain. The toothsome beauty has rustic natural rind and an ivory paste. It has a supple, creamy texture with some delicate tyrosine crystals that have developed as the cheese aged. Notes of fresh grass, caramel, hazelnuts and a floral finish combine creating a beautiful complexity. Come down to the shop and pick up a wedge of Adarré Reserve for your next cheese plate!
We won’t be hosting a wine tasting this week, but we will back to it next week with Tim Rippa of Petit Monde Wine Merchant.
