Chef Erik Van Kley and his staff will focus their creative energy on dinner
PORTLAND, Ore. (June 26, 2018) – Southeast Portland’s Accanto will be saying goodbye to brunch. Though one of Portland’s hottest new brunches, with mentions in The Oregonian, EaterPDX, Portland Monthly and The Portland Mercury, Chef Erik Van Kley and his staff want to focus their creative energies on making dinner the best it can be. Look for an expanded dinner menu to roll out in the following weeks.
WHEN: July 1, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
In November 2017, Erik Van Kley (Little Bird Bistro, Taylor Railworks) and partner Gabriela Ramos (Taylor Railworks) took over Southeast Portland’s Accanto, the little sister to Genoa. Since he took over the kitchen, Chef Erik Van Kley revitalized the menu, adding whimsical twists to Italian classics, creative pastas and bringing his local-meets-worldly approach to the kitchen and menu. In the front-of-house, Gabriela Ramos’ has brought her extensive wine and spirits knowledge to the bar, creating a unique wine program with approachable, hard-to-find Italian wines and an expansive collection of aperitif, digestif and vermouths for perfect dinner pairings.
