Abigail Hall New Cocktail Menu for Women’s History Month

March 7, 2019

Abigail Hall is adding a new cocktail menu in honor of International Women’s Day / Women’s History Month. It will be available at the bar for the entire month of March, starting this Thursday, March 7th.

It seems only fitting to honor Women’s History Month at Abigail Hall considering that its creator, Jen Quist, named the bar after Abigail Scott Duniway, Oregon’s “Mother of Equal Suffrage.” A lecturer, organizer, writer, and editor, Duniway is revered for her achievements for women’s rights and the place she held in the forging of the Northwest.

The menu is a veritable team effort; Quist asked each Abigail Hall staff member to select a significant female and to create a cocktail/cocktail name in their honor.
