Beaverton, Ore. – Society Pie, a new, family-owned and operated pizzeria in Beaverton, is set to open its doors on Wednesday, March 3 at 8410 SW Nimbus Ave. Owned by Oregon natives Josh and Stacey Kearney, the pizzeria will feature traditional recipes utilizing the highest quality ingredients and freshest toppings, sold in slices or whole pies. “When we realized that the grind of a corporate job wasn’t feeding our souls, we decided to take the leap and fulfill our dream of owning a family-run pizzeria,” said Josh Kearney, co-owner of Society Pie. “Despite the setbacks of the pandemic, we’re incredibly excited to offer our community an independent pizzeria focusing on great service and quality products, something I think we’ve created in Society Pie.”
Freshly made dough, traditional and more modern sauces coupled with the highest quality meats, cheeses and vegetables will all be staples at Society Pie. The Kearney’s, who own and operate the restaurant with their two children, plan to work in tandem with businesses in the community to feature locally grown or sourced goods, create signature items and potentially establish community-minded events in the near future.
“Understanding that we’d be spending ample time at Society Pie to build the brand, we worked to create an independent vibe and environment that would be enjoyable for everyone,” said Stacey Kearney, co-owner of Society Pie. “Our dough is hand-made daily utilizing our own recipe, we use the highest quality Mozzarella available, premium meats, and we prep our vegetables each morning for the freshness we expect in all of our pies. Our mission is to deliver great service, create quality products and work to positively impact our community and we can’t wait to share that with Beaverton.”
Currently, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines from the state, the restaurant will offer its full menu for takeout, delivery, and limited in-person dining. In addition to the variety of recipe options the restaurant will provide, it offers single slice, whole pies, gluten free alternatives and various combos which include drinks, knots and salads.
