“Something that is written with little effort is, in general, read with little pleasure.” Words I live by and apply to all things in life. With little effort comes little reward.
I’ve been working on this newsletter for weeks now but am facing a bit of writer’s block. It’s definitely not down to a lack of effort, but the words are just not coming together. Rather than trying to force an ill written piece, I’ll leave you with this photo of a drawer full of selfies.
Tickets for September are now available through Tock. I apologize for the delay.
One exciting new development will be our inclusion of a zero-proof beverage pairing. I was challenged with the task by a guest and see its value. Also, I see it as a challenge. As if the start of week 9 of a new restaurant wasn’t challenging enough, we’ll now offer non-alcholic pairings in the form of teas, juices, sodas, and maybe even a popsicle starting in September. I feel the willingness to meet these challenges, just as we did in creating a plant-based menu the other week. will ultimately force me to change my perspective in creating something new and make me a better chef. More importantly, it’s another option for our guests. I actually don’t drink alcohol, so it only makes sense to have this offering.
The beverage pairing will be $30 and can only be purchased ahead through Tock.
I guess that would have been enough of a talking point, but I already uploaded the pic….
