Remember these? Grab a dozen and support a great cause!
I’m not sure how many of you realize this, but in terms of energy level, mine is off the charts.
When folks are feeling kind, they refer to it as “legendary.” Or as a boss once told me, “Your passion is both your greatest asset and your greatest detriment.” (Another boss once told me the agenda I planned for the week was firetrucking nuts, but ah well.) My husband constantly pokes fun at me about my giant to-do lists. And my daughter’s boyfriend recently told me, “Wow, I thought I had a lot of energy…”
You can blame my mom. I do! I’m pretty sure I inherited this energy from her, or at least emulated it from birth. She was, and at the age of 93 still is, constantly in motion. Sitting still is not our strong suit.
Long story short, I’ll be in Portland for a few weeks, and have decided to put my ridiculous energy to good use. You can call me nuts if you wish – I take no offense. With the help of a few friends, I’ll be churning out 100 baker’s dozen boxes of Two Tarts favorites. Available for pickup one day only, every single cent collected will be donated to The Dougy Center.
Before you place that order, here are a few things you should know:
Your baker’s dozen box will be availble for pickup on Saturday, August 17th
at the Corkscru Wine Merchants warehouse between noon and 4pm.
You are welcome to hang out, drink some rosé, learn more about The Dougy Center.
Unfortunately, there will not be another opportunity to pickup your cookies!
