Borgo Savaian di Bastiani Stefano is a 3rd Generation wine making family in a small region of Fruili. They practice sustainable farming and operate as organically as possible.
“Aransat” is Friulian slang for “orange”, the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc grapes in this blend are spontaneously fermented on their skins in stainless steel tanks, with post-fermentation maceration on the skins lasting for 90 days before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, giving it the beautiful orange hue.
Medium-bodied & dry with flowers, citrus and apricot on the nose. The palate shows more stone fruits and it finishes with orange bitters, pine, and minerals. Very vibrant with refreshing acidity.
We have limited quantities and it goes fast, don’t wait on this one…
