The New Menu Has Arrived!
Happy New Year, one and all! With 2017 fully in gear, we’re ready to unveil the new winter cocktail menu..
As always, we’re a little giddy to be mixing at the peak of winter fruit: the deep richness of blood oranges, the supple sweetness of passion fruit, the vibrant high notes of grenadine, and the indescribably exotic beauty that is fresh guava. In short, all sorts of singsongy goodness.
There are a host of bright, anticipatory libations, such as Age of Discovery, a vibrant blend of a housemade rose & verbena aperitif, mixed with a seasonal Buddha’s Hand bitters and gin. But there are still, of course, those sultry offerings to help you hike the parka up against this winter’s enduring cold: we’ve concocted a brown butter-washed bourbon, boosted it with Cocchi vermouth de Torino, finishing the whole thing off with Cynar and Frangelico That would be the Brownstone.
Add a delectable assortment of recipes from our dear friends around the country, as well as a spectrum -from the austere to the whimsical-of the classics (hint: check out the sumptuous combo of Bénédictine, Creme d’Yvette, & ginger beer in the Bon Soir), and you have an idea of what’s going on down here.
