Loire Valley Wine Tasting
Hosted by Dario Oman of Casa Bruno Wines
Thursday February 25th from 5:30 to 7:30

This week’s wine tasting will feature a selection of wines from France’s Loire Valley. Dario Oman of Casa Bruno has carefully selected four unique terroir-driven wines that show off what the region has to offer.

Here’s this week’s lineup:

Petit Coteaux Vouvray Brut
A sparkling Chenin Blanc made in the traditional champagne style. An absolute steal for any bubbly drinker. This wine has all the fresh brightness found in Chenin, with a yeasty, bread-like finish.

Domaine du Guyons, “Vent du Nord, Saumur Blanc
This Chenin Blanc made in stainless steel has great acidity, a little waxy character, and notes of pear and apple.

Domaine de la Chignardiere, Rose of Gamay
This rose is made in the Muscadet region of the Loire Valley. Much like Muscadet, this wine carries a salinity that cleans the palate. Fantastic to drink by itself or with seafood.

Bruno Dufeu Bourgeuil, “Grand Mont”
A very classic expression of Cabernet Franc. Beautiful black pepper flavor with hints of rustic meat and bell pepper.

As always, the tasting is complimentary. We hope to see you there!
