Dear FoodDude,

I want to tell you that our Tomato 5-Course Menu is something that, even by Nate’s and my standards, is incomprehensible.  He’s been floating around the kitchen with a Cheshire-Cat smile on his face all week… and that’s a very good sign.

I was allergic to tomatoes as a kid and so I grew up hating them.  “Tomatoes” is, perhaps, my favorite menu of all time.

I promise that I’m not saying this for my benefit but rather for yours:  don’t miss one of the most astounding culinary opportunities of the year.

The Last Two Weeks:
We had a Living Social (beer/pool) promotion expire last week.  The billions of participants who waited until the last few days before expiration threw our service into a bit of a tizzy.  If this affected you during the last fortnight, I want to apologize here and now for being unprepared for the onslaught Uptown endured.  We did our best, but I am aware we failed to keep up on at least two nights during the past couple weeks.  Thanks for your patience, support and, I hope, forgiveness.
