Trader Vic’s Kicks Off Brunch in November
Portland, OR – October 24, 2011- Portland’s breakfast aficionados now have a new venue to try: Trader Vic’s introduces weekend brunch service starting Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m.The menu will range from dishes infused with island flavors like the “Pancake Stack” adorned with macadamia nuts, banana, and Oregon maple syrup ($12); to Portland-style brunch favorites, such as “Bird & Waffles” with buttermilk-soaked quail, Oregon maple syrup, and Swiss chard sauté. There are also a few throwback dishes like “Egg Fu Yung” with ramps, bean sprouts, chanterelles, spinach, and onion gravy ($14). For those more in a lunch mood, soup, salads and hearty sandwiches will be served, including executive chef Michael Broderick’s signature “Trader Vic’s Burger” with crisp pork belly, Tillamook white aged cheddar, and Vic’s mayonnaise ($12). Top it all off with a Tahitian Coffee and the weekend will never look better.
