Portland, OR – Bazi Bierbrasserie (1522 SE 32nd Ave – Hawthorne District) in partnership with the American Outlaws Portland Chapter (AOPDX), Widmer Brothers and Maletis Beverage bring the Summer of Soccer including a series of eight (8) beer gardens to celebrate Soccer City USA.
As the official home of AOPDX, you can expect to catch every US Men’s National Team match on Bazi’s 114” HDTV with sound during the COPA America Centenario, and the US Women’s National Team throughout the Olympics games.
In addition, as a Belgian beer soccer pub, Bazi is also the home of the Red Devils and plans to open for all those EURO matches including the 6 AM match of Belgium vs the Republic of Ireland on Saturday, June 18 with a special make your own Bloody Mary bar (to kick off at 7 AM due to OLCC rules).
In total, Bazi’s big screen TV will be dedicated to show over 100 COPA, EURO, and Olympic matches. Furthermore, Bazi plans to close the street in front of them eight (8) times on the following dates: COPA Semis on June 21-22, COPA Finals on June 25-26, Euro Final July 10, Olympics Quarter Finals on August 12, Olympics Semis August 16, and Olympics Bronze and Gold matches on August 19. These outdoor viewing parties are family friendly. Well behaved pets are also welcomed.
During the months of July-August AOPDX will be collecting used soccer gear. Bins will be placed inside Bazi and located outside during the Beer Gardens. Attendees are encouraged to bring used, but gently worn items to donate to this cause. AOPDX will work closely with other non-profits to distribute items around the metro area.
