Rotie Cellars, Owen Roe, Eyrie and more. This Saturday’s tasting at L&E

SATURDAY TASTING AT L&E

Saturday, August 11, Noon-4:00pm

Tom Pavlik of Washington state’s Rotie Cellars will be at Liner and Elsen pouring the entire, absolutely riveting, line up from this superb, little-known winery. The wines are an homage to the great wines of the Northern and Southern Rhone Valley of France. And they serve as proof that Washington has what it takes to make world-class wines the likes of Cote Rotie, Chateauneuf du Pape, and even Hermitage! The tasting will include not just the four commercial releases, but tasters will also sample four of the rarest and smallest production wines usually available only at the winery’s tasting room.
Please don’t miss this one!

In addition to all this greatness, the friendly (and occassionally nerdy) L&E staff will pour some great newsletter selections:

Oregon’s “original”, The Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Blanc
The much lauded Owen Roe‘s Abotts Table red blend
Little known Z’Ivo (Dr. Zelko) Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir
A killer Aussie cab blend from Margaret River’s Eagle Vale winery

Our select samplers are poured on Saturday, starting at noon. There is no charge.
