This seasoned author and instructor will demonstrate her recipes for honey sweetened strawberry jam and marinated sugar snap peas. She’s coming just in time to help us get that food out of the garden and into jars!

This class includes your very own copy of Preserving by the Pint, demonstration of both recipes and samples of strawberry honey jam on fresh bread from Baker&Spice for $25

Meet Marisa…

Marisa McClellan is a full-time food writer and canning teacher as well as the sole blogger at Food in Jars. She i s the author of Food in Jars: Preserving in Small Batches Year-Round and Preserving by the Pint: Quick, Seasonal Canning for Small Spaces. Her writing appears regularly on The Food Network, Saveur’s website, Table Matters and in Food 52′s Small Batch Series. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Portland, Oregon, she now lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Scott.
