Portland’s most creative culinary talents take Autumn Harvest international, event to benefit St. Jude and kids battling cancer, life-threatening diseases
2015 Culinary Chair of the dinner, Chef Gregory Gourdet of Departure Restaurant + Lounge, will join forces with five of Portland’s culinary best to create a one-of-a-kind international dining experience at the St. Jude Autumn Harvest, presented by Directors Mortgage, set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd. The event aims to raise awareness and funding for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
Gourdet will be joined by a team, including: Han Ly Hwang of Kin Jong Grillin’, Mindy Keith formerly of Xico, Katy Millard of Coquine, Matthew Sigler of Renata, and BJ Smith of Smokehouse Tavern. The group will serve up eight courses, for some 250 guests, of cuisine prepared in Japanese, Korean, Mexican, French, Italian, and American traditions. In addition, guests can enjoy libations from local vintners, distillers and brewers; live entertainment; and high-end auction.
