Plate & Pitchfork Presents “Books that Cook”

An Evening with Authors Lynne Curry & Cheryl Sternman Rule

Portland, OR (August 15, 2012)—Local Chef Anthony Cafiero, formerly of Tabla Bistro, will prepare a three-course meal featuring recipes from Lynne Curry’s “Pure Beef: An Essential Guide to Artisan Meat with Recipes for Every Cut” and Cheryl Sternman Rule’s “Ripe: A Fresh Colorful Approach to Fruits and Vegetables” on Thursday, August 23, at the private 60-seat dining room adjacent to the former Corazon restaurant at 1223 SW Washington.

This omnivorous evening will be filled with great conversation with the authors and a menu comprised of local artisan beef and produce. Lynne and Cheryl will lead conversations about each course and be available to sign copies of their cookbooks throughout the evening.

About the Authors

Lynne Curry is a professional cook and food writer who contributes regularly to Zester Daily and The Oregonian food section.
