Sundown at Ecotrust 2012

The Sundown at Ecotrust Concert Series grooves into week three with the uplifting tunes of Holcombe Waller and the Healers, supported by Sarah Jackson-Holman. This week, our focus is on “Honoring Food” so expect an extra tasty Innovation Showcase, plus the usual refreshing beverages and meals from Hot Lips and Laughing Planet. Our evening host, Organically Grown Company, is hosting a fundraiser picnic on the terrace benefitting Portland-based non-profit p:ear.

Holcombe Waller is a Portland singer-songwriter backed by the Healers. Stylistic comparisons have been made to Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, but Holcombe Waller and the Healers claim their own unique sound. Waller’s multi-tonal soprano vocals play center stage complimented by the gentle support of strings, acoustic guitars, and the fading strains of harmonies heard in echo. Sarah Jackson-Holman’s classical training is the foundation for the heavy layers of warm and soulful melodies that dance between the piano keys and her lovely voice. We’re really looking forward to these two performances!

The Concert Series is family-friendly! Bring the kids to enjoy the Sundown Kid’s Corner, hosted by PDX Kids Calendar and local non-profit Children’s Healing Arts Project (CHAP).

Purchase tickets for killer raffles featuring Patagonia and NAU apparel, Feast Portland event tickets — plus a collector’s edition Timbers soccer ball with signatures from the original team!
