Hey Lompoc friends! Summer is coming to an end, so we’re celebrating with a big party. Tomorrow is our annual Oktoberfest release celebration at the Fifth Quadrant, 3901 N Williams, from 11 am to dusk. We’ll have cornhole games in the parking lot (think bean bag toss), food specials including brats and soft pretzels, and canned German music.
The 5Q and Sidebar will both be open as well. Sidebar will serve Oktoberfest; Fleming Red, a blend of Lompoc Wheat Wine, Stout Out Loud, Proletariat Red, and a red ale aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 10 months; Red Raisin, our Proletariat Red aged for 3 years in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels with 35 pounds of sour cherries; Roar of ’84 IPA, named for the Detroit Tigers most spectacular season – it’s dark blonde in color and strikingly bitter, with an herbal, hoppy aroma and finish; Stout Out Loud, a mix between two styles, a Dry Irish Stout and an Oatmeal Stout. It has a pitch black color with slight hints of coffee, chocolate, and roast flavors with a creamy mouth feel; and Kick Axe Dry Hopped Pale Ale.
PTFC! If you don’t have tickets to tonight’s Portland Timbers game against the Colorado Rapids, come watch it with Lompoc. All four pubs will show the game, which kicks off at 7:30 pm.
