In celebration of what we hope will be a fine and excellent New Year for all of us here and for all of you, we have put together a very special meal to help mark the transition into 2013. We really like cooking for you all on New Year’s and hope very much that you will join us for this special evening!

A nine course dinner to celebrate the New Year

To Begin With…
a selection of oyster, crab, & shrimp on ice

Tempura
of winter vegetables

Sashimi
salmon, scallop & foie gras

Osechi
items from the traditional new year’s bento

Swordfish
smoked over cedar with grilled lemon

Wagyu Beef
prepared more or less in the sukiyaki style

Toshikoshi Soba
chilled buckwheat noodles (for prosperity in the new year!)

Kinoko Gohan
rice cooked with mushrooms.
served with our homemade miso soup and some special tsukemono

Chokoreeto
pudding with satsuma mandarins to finish…
