No, this is not a soccer match. On Friday August 17th from 5:00 to 9:00PM Storyteller Wine Company will be hosting a side-by-side tasting of wines from Arianna Occhipinti’s winery in Sicily and the Tikveš Winery in Macedonia. There will be reds and whites, with everything from Frappato and Albanello to RKaciteli and Vranec. There will be no charge for what is probably Portland’s first ever Macedonia-Sicilian wine throw down. At least we can’t imagine anybody being nuts enough to do this.
