Jenn’s Weekly Cocktail
Jenn got her hands on the bourbon bottle this week and came up with a cocktail that is perfect for the summer weather. She’s calling it The Arnold Palmer #2 and it’s on the menu tonight here at Lincoln. It’s the first of her weekly rotating cocktails and it consists of bourbon, lemon juice and lemon zest, mint, honey and ginger beer. Come in to Lincoln this week and give it a try.

Growing Gardens Dinner
Jenn will be cooking a dinner on Sunday, August 19th to support Growing Gardens. Here’s a bit about the event and the dinner series:
Growing Gardens was founded on a simple but revolutionary idea: the seeds of a healthier world are planted in our own backyards. So it’s only natural that their signature event should take place in ten of them this summer. Ten chefs, ten back yards, ten delicious dinners prepared with sustainably-sourced ingredients. In our backyards, magical things happen.
Chef In My Garden dinners take place on Sunday evenings throughout the summer. About fifty guests arrive at 4 pm to tour the host garden and enjoy appetizers before sitting down to a one-of-a-kind meal. Each dinner is a creation of one of Portland’s premier chefs and wine pairings are provided by the best of Oregon wineries.
