LAKE GROVE ZUPAN’S MARKETS HOSTS RACK OF LAMB AND SYRAH DINNER
Big Dinners in the Breezeway series continues with all-natural Colorado grilled rack of lamb
Portland, Ore. (Sept. 6, 2012) – Zupan’s Markets, Portland’s local and family-owned market, will host the fourth event in its Big Dinners in the Breezeway series at the Lake Grove location on Sept. 14. Chef Michael Waters and staff will prepare a culinary feast featuring all-natural Colorado grilled rack of lamb and Syrah wines from around the world.
What: Zupan’s Markets is hosting an alfresco three-course rack of lamb and Syrah dinner featuring the following menu:
· First Course: Caesar salad made with organic romaine lettuce leaves, shredded aged Parmigiano Reggiano, fresh-made Grand Central Bakery Focaccia croutons and housemade Caesar dressing
· Second Course: Shepherd’s Pride all-natural Colorado grilled rack of lamb served with a sage demi-glaze, accompanied by soft Italian A.G. Ferrari polenta and a medley of roasted vegetables including local Honey Grove Farms elephant garlic, local shallots, fennel, baby carrots, zucchini and sunburst squash
· Third Course: Local Oregon pear and hazelnut tart paired with Jeni’s Salty Caramel ice cream
· Wines: Monmousseau Brut L’Etoile, France; Bodegas Pablo Padin Segral 2011 Albariño, Spain; St. Cosme Côtes du Rhône 2011 Syrah, France; Qupe 2009 Syrah, Central Coast
