In Celebration of Their 25th Anniversary Take A Field Trip with the Beaverton Farmers Market!

Join local growers as they satisfy your summer palate with a relaxing dinner made with fruits and veggies right on the farm.

Sunday, July 15th at Unger Farms and Sunday, September 9th at Sun Gold Farms

Feast on the Farm is a summer dinner series created to celebrate Portland area farmers and the food they harvest. For over 25 seasons, the Beaverton Farmer’s Market has nourished a community that appreciates locally grown food and encouraged our neighboring farmers to help make this possible.  Our Feast on the Farm dinner series will provide an opportunity for you to visit the beautiful farms where the seeds are ploughed. You can enjoy a delicious meal prepared only steps away from the soil in which it was grown!

The first in this series is an evening of American barbecue at Unger Farms in Hillsboro. Unger Farms is one of Oregon’s premiere local and family owned berry farms with 114 acres of land! On July 15th at 4:30pm, the Unger family will elevate your senses as your smack your lips and lick the gooey barbecue from your fingers. Their perfectly ripe and juicy berries will be featured throughout the meal and effortlessly paired with local beer and wine to help enhance the smoky flavors. The dinner is $70 per person.

Unger Farms is located in Cornelius, OR about 23 miles West of Portland.

34880 SW Johnson School Rd. Cornelius OR, 97113

On September 9th, take a trip to Sun Gold Farms in Forest Grove to enjoy the second evening in our series of Feast on the Farm dinners. Sun Gold Farms is a pesticide free, sustainable operation with a generous variety of fruits and vegetables.  Adorned with white tablecloths, the Hertel family will treat you to a bountiful evening of fall flavors in a peaceful setting. The dinner is $99 per person and includes locally produced beer and wine.
