Tasty n Alder will feature a unique brunch offering, much like its big brother Tasty n Sons, with lots of surprises. Dinner will focus on steaks, chops and german beer.
Running the kitchen under John’s watchful eye will be Chef Kyle Prewitt. Morgan Brownlow will man the stoves during dinner.
Kyle has been running the Tasty n Sons brunch since we opened. His righthand man, Jeff Morrell will be taking over there.
Morgan has been in Portland since his time spent as the original chef at ClarkLewis. More recently, he’s been in the kitchen at Toro working beside Josh Scofield on our charcuterie program. Tasty n Alder is located in downtown Portland, at 580 SW 12th Ave at Alder
Tasty n Alder will be open five days a week through February. Brunch service begins Feberuary 6th. Dinner begins February 13th. Grand opening March 1st for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner seven days a week.
Closures for Staff Appreciation Party:
- Toro Bravo will be closed January 27th
- Tasty n Sons will be closed for Dinner on January 27th and Brunch on January 28th.
