Lake Oswego locals can now start their day at the local favorite hot spot known for its exquisitely prepared seasonal food and down-to-earth, friendly service. Chef/owner James Joyce and his wife Vicky Davies have incorporated several popular breakfast treats into the menu featuring plenty of fresh, local ingredients including: fluffy, buttery biscuits with sweet fresh jam or savory egg, cheese and bacon, seasonal pumpkin bread, coffee cake, scones, granola, fruit and yogurt parfait or quiche of the day. Wash it down with a cup of Stumptown coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice to start any weekday on a delicious note.
For those in the mood for gourmet fare later in the day, the talented cooking staff at Gourmet Productions has also infused the flavors of fall into lunch and dinner dishes with side specialties such as: red Russian kale slaw with radicchio, pistachios, parmesan and walnut vinaigrette; beets tossed with Provencal oil, herbs and chèvre; and Mediterranean quinoa with protein-rich quinoa, feta, tomato, cucumber and pecans.
Hearty choices include roasted shrimp orzo with dill, parsley, cucumber, red onion and feta; a BLT pasta with bow-tie pasta, bacon, arugula, tomatoes and bleu cheese; and the daily featured seasonal market veg.
Gourmet Productions has enhanced its entrees with favorite fall flavors, featuring a grilled salmon filet served with a cilantro-ginger pesto; flank steak grilled with green peppercorn crème fraîche; East Indian salmon cakes topped with tangy cucumber raita; and stuffed chicken breast with roasted corn, leek and smoked mozzarella with poblano pepper sauce.
