To celebrate Japan’s unique national spirit, Ping has been holding educational talks and shochu tastings over the last month. The final event is this Thursday, June 7th at 2:30pm.
We are pleased to announce that Matt Mount of House Spirits will be joining us again to discuss shochu and his experience producing shochu locally at House Spirits.
If you have not attended one of our shochu talks before, here is what you might expect:
An educational talk about the history and process of shochu production from Tim Navarrette, Ping’s resident Bar Manager
A tasting consisting of four shochu from our selection of over 30 (and counting!)
An array of small bites from Ping’s kitchen
