Please join us for a special fundraising event: Eat Like a Preschooler, a farm to table dinner at beautiful Wild Goose Farm on Sauvie Island. The vegetarian menu will feature organic, seasonal and local produce in recipes served to the children each day at Wild Lilac – with some twists and spice to delight adult palates. We’ll have local cheeses, wine and craft beers to enjoy, too!
The cost of dinner is $50, with all proceeds supporting the enrollment of children from low-income families at Wild Lilac.
Wild Lilac Child Development Community offers high quality, inclusive, culturally responsive, and accessible early childhood education and comprehensive family support to the southeast Portland community. Wild Lilac is proud to serve children wholesome, organic, and nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks each day. To support the children’s connection to their food Wild Lilac invites them to help plant, harvest, and prepare the meals enjoyed together as a community.
