Summer moves into fall at The Chef Studio with classes beginning on August 6th
CLASSES BEGIN – August 6 – September 26
No other time of year holds the taste of harvest at it’s fingertips as late summer does. Take ingredient from the field and market, to the magic blue stove, to the table at The Chef Studio. We welcome the season, as do we welcome chef instructor Andrea Slonecker. Alongside Blake Van Roekel and Kristen Murray, Andrea brings grace and understanding to how we learn to cook. Click here for the schedule of evening classes and cost.
FRANCE OPEN HOUSE – Thursday, June 28th, 6:00-8:00 pm
See where we’ll go, stay and cook while in France this Thursday with a special Open House. The evening will feature information on past trips and well as what to expect from our future culinary trek departing on October 18th. Have you traveled to France before with The Chef Studio? Come and share! Wine and light bites provided. Please rsvp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
OUR KITCHEN GARDEN
No kitchen is complete without a potager. This project is truly a testament to the remarkable Chef Studio community. Greens, beets, tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash and much more are now thriving a hop and skip away from the Studio. Former students Alex Gorodisher and Kara Goldhamer generously gifted the land . . . and drip irrigation tutorials. Former instructor Caroline Lewis and her husband Larry of Vedura Culinary Gardens donated plant starts. Sara Pool of Grow Me Organics gave and continues to give her design skill, time and plethora of stockpiled seeds! Anne Berbligner of Gales Meadow Farm shared so many plant starts, including her famous peppers that we now get to cook with aplenty. Thank you in the truest sense of the word.
