Premier Mt. Hood destination puts a fresh take on local summer favorites
WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (July 26, 2012) – Altitude and Executive Chef Paul Bosch present a new seasonal summer menu featuring the freshest local bounty, available now at the casually upscale restaurant located at The Resort at The Mountain.
Highlighting local favorites and indigenous ingredients sourced in the Mt. Hood territory, the menu offers a contemporary take on classic dishes, satisfying a variety of palates. Altitude’s dining room provides an inviting atmosphere where locals and overnight guests alike can enjoy approachable, comfortable cuisine, as well as experience new flavors.
Offerings include Savory Foie Gras Crème Custard with strawberry-rhubarb chutney, white balsamic vinaigrette and pickled beets; Herb Crusted Lamb Rack with morel, lamb jus, pickled mustard seeds, succotash and lamb bacon; Ricotta Gnudi with brown butter, sage, peas, oven-roasted tomatoes and parmesan; and Fried Mortadella Sandwich with griddled mortadella, ricotta and paté di capperi on a brioche bun. In addition, Altitude will continue to offer classic favorites including Braised Beef Short Rib, Sirloin Burger and Beef Tenderloin.
