Let The Good Times Roll at Acadia
NE Portland’s Creole Kitchen Celebrates Mardi Gras 2013

What:

On February 12, Acadia Chef/Owner Adam Higgs and his crew at Acadia are bringing a little taste of the French Quarter to their Northeast Portland outpost. Tables will be dressed in beads and masks, along with vintage Mardi Gras coins Higgs brought back from New Orleans—all for guests to take home.

In addition to the regular menu, Acadia is offering a special $35 three-course Fat Tuesday menu honoring classic New Orleans-style cooking. Dishes include: Gumbo Z’ Herbs (a gumbo made with greens!), Beef Cheek Debris and Crawfish Etouffee in addition to Acadia’s regular dinner menu. Acadia will offer slices of their house made, multi-colored King Cake for dessert ($5). So goes the tradition, those who find the baby will take home a $50 gift certificate.
