EAST MEETS WEST: A DINNER WITH GRUNER & SE WINE COLLECTIVE
The West End’s Grüner heads to the East Side, partnering with The Southeast Wine Collective.
Together, we will host a small gathering of epicureans to sample Portland’s bounty, and to kick off the winter season.
Grüner’s, James Beard Nominated Chef, Chris Israel, will be present alongside Winemakers Thomas Monroe, and Vincent Fritzsche to answer any questions, and join in the festivities.
The $75 4 course, Alpine-Winter inspired menu, will include Lobster Bisque, Duck Confit Salad, and Hasenpfeffer, among other delicious offerings; thoughtfully paired with some of Oregon’s finest Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Chardonnay.
Bow & Arrow Wine maker cum resident DJ, Scott Frank will create a playlist of favorites to contribute to a relaxed and jovial atmosphere.
Guests will be treated to wine and passed hors d’oeuvres in the new Barrel Room at the Southeast Wine Collective, located at 2425 SE 35th Place, with dinner to follow in the winery.
