An Invitation

Please join us at The Chef Studio for an Open House on Saturday, October 6th from 1:00-5:00 pm. Robert’s friends, family and Chef Studio community are welcomed into the kitchen that has fostered so many memories for us all!

As Robert said during a class on the decadent cooking of Venice, “What the hell. Life’s a party. Here we go.” Come laugh, enjoy champagne, and spend time with friends to smile and reminisce.

Pulling Our Alumni Together

Help us build and complete our Student Directory. We would love to hear from you as we tie the pieces of records together. Simply update your profile or if you prefer email Blake at correspond@thechefstudio.com or call 503.753.1655.

A Remembrance

We mourn the passing of mentor, chef, and friend – Robert Reynolds. He was father of The Chef Studio, visionary, and poet of the table.

Robert Reynolds

In teaching, Robert’s spirit lives on. Hundreds touched by him know that “when the conversation ends about salt, it begins about butter.” We, at The Chef Studio, are dedicated and honored to keep his conversation alive in the kitchen.

As Josephine Araldo said to Robert in her last days, “Your food is always the best, Robeirt.” We nod knowingly. May the students of tomorrow continue to be welcomed into The Chef Studio to learn, to cook . . . and nod with understanding themselves.

A scholarship fund has been established in Robert’s honor and tradition to help carry on the nurturing of young talent.

The Chef Studio family grows. Please visit our website to see our current class schedule.

A votre santé!
