FOREST GROVE, OREGON (November 5, 2012) – The Tasting Room at 1910Main is wine tasting room for wineries that do not have tasting rooms of their own. The primary concept is to offer consumers a place to sample unique wines that are not regularly obtainable. In addition to offering wine tasting, the tasting room will provide an opportunity for winery and Winemakers to host events.
1910 Main an American Bistro also operates The Tasting Room at 1910Main and presides in the same building. The tasting room will feature and solely represent a unique collection of wines from a small, distinctive group of vintners in the North Willamette Valley featuring Cancilla Cellars, Provincial Vineyards, Sunswept Vineyards, and Gresser Vineyards.
The Tasting Room at 1910Main will celebrate their grand opening on November 17th and 18th featuring wine tasting and complementary appetizers from 1910 Main an American Bistro. Hours for the grand opening are 11am to 6pm both days. Wines are priced affordably from $16 to $40 for bottles, a special grand opening fee of $5 for 5 tastes (regularly priced at $10). Winemakers will be available to share their wines and answer questions.
On Friday nights, you can take off for a night of wine tasting, food pairings and a beautiful dinner in our “Friday Night Flights” offer. You will be able to sample wines and appetizers; find a wine you like, and bring the bottle with you for dinner in our restaurant. Don’t think you have to know all there is to know about wines! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can walk you through tastings; help with picking wines to suit your taste and offer suggestions of what to pair with the wine to create a fun, enjoyable, easy-going evening. The tasting room also has classes and guest lectures by different winemakers every month. If you feel the need to take your interest in wine and food to a new level, we can provide you with the opportunity to expand your horizons! We also have space available for private catered events and parties.
The Tasting Room at 1910Main’s regular tasting hours are Friday 11-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 11-6pm, although staff is always available other days for drop by tastings or by appointment.
