19th Annual Spring Beer & Wine Fest Returns to the Convention Center March 29-30

The Spring Beer & Wine Fest, Portland’s unofficial kickoff event of festival season, returns for its 19th installment at the Oregon Convention Center during Easter weekend. A welcome reprieve from the ubiquitous cabin fever that sets in over the course of a Portland winter, the Spring Beer and Wine Fest is an indoor event that delivers the celebratory vibe of an outdoor summer festival. The festival features an incredible selection of some of the regions finest libations coupled with top-notch entertainment of local live music.

Admission to the Spring Beer and Wine Fest is FREE to the first 500 attendees on Friday and only $8 for subsequent guests. The 2013 Spring Beer and Wine Fest will partner with the Hoppity Hops Run on March 30th with free Saturday admission for all participants.

The Spring Beer and Wine Fest will feature more than 40 breweries, 30 wineries, and over a dozen craft distillers. Complimenting the delicious drink selection are culinary delights from chocolatiers, cheese makers, and other food artisans rounding out a full lineup to satisfy every Portland palette.

The festival is conveniently located on the new East Side Streetcar route to safely transport fans from al points in the metro area in conjunction with MAX and other Tri-Met options.

This year the festival benefits the Susan B. Komen for the Cure, Getting Your Recipe to Market Program, the American Heart Association and World Action Foundation, and local non-profits supporting small business.
